WinSCP (Windows Secure CoPy) is a free and open source SFTP, SCP, and FTP client for Microsoft Windows. Its main function is secure file transfer between a local and a remote computer. Beyond this, WinSCP offers basic file manager and file synchronization functionality. For secure transfers, it uses Secure Shell (SSH) and supports the SCP protocol in addition to SFTP.

1. download installation package of latest version. (view attachment picture)
2. run installation and click next until installation is complete.
3. you will have to restart your PC.
4. once rebooted, run WinSCP.
Using:
1. at the startup, choose your file protocol (view attachment picture) either Secure FTP SCP (secure copy) or FTP.
2. enter Hostname or ip address of remote pc
3. choose port number
4. enter username and password
5. During the establishment of the connection you will be prompted for the pass phrase, which is entered during the ssh keys pair generation.
you can also add stored sessions for easy connection.
